This group of member physicians age 62 and older meets quarterly at hospitals in the east metro area, often at Bethesda or St. Joseph's.

Retired physicians serve as president for one year and recruit speakers to come and talk on a variety of topics.

At 11:30am, we have lunch and socialize with friends and past colleagues. The speaker begins at noon and talks for 45-60 minutes. If you’ve never attended, we invite you to visit! The cost is $12/person and meeting notices are mailied about one month prior to each event.

A Few Recent Topics:

  • From a former Saint Paul Police Officer: “Trial of the Century: the Arrest of T. Eugene Thompson”
  • “Tax Free Investing for Retired Individuals”
  • “The Jones Collection of Prints at Minneapolis Institute of Arts”
  • From DNR employee: “Minnesota’s Deer Herd: Then & Now”
  • From Al Quie: “Fulfilling One’s Impossible Lifelong Dream – Horseback Riding Along the Continental Divide.”
