TCMS has a very powerful communication tool in our journal, MetroDoctors. In a survey done in early 2010, our members consistently ranked the journal as a strong member benefit.  Follow-up surveys will be conducted in late 2010 and will help to focus our efforts to make sure that our members are getting the types of informative articles that they desire.


We are also building social media tools to enable us to communicate more effectively with our members who prefer to communicate via cyberspace.  Look for a Face book page and other social networking tools in late 2010/early 2011.

The editorial board of our journal, MetroDoctors is comprised of physicians and staff.  We meet every other month in person but work in a virtual way every day reviewing articles submitted for consideration.

MetroDoctors, the membership journal of the Twin Cities Medical Societies is designed to feature articles of interest to physicians and health care administrators in the twin cities metropolitan communities.  Topics range from the economics of medicine, advancements in technology, and healthcare legislation, to unique mission trips and vacations experienced by member physicians.  The goals, objectives and services of the organizations are also promoted.
